The story behind “Yoü and I” video:

Gaga recall’s the one man who made her feel magical and decides to embark on a journey to him, almost there and exhausted she passes out and begins to hallucinate about her past and how she became who she is today.

She fantasizes about her simple “Human” life and the love of her life. Unfortunately this man was always trying to fix her, to make her into some kind of super woman, but with every attempt at “fixing” her she just became more magical. In his final attempt to fix her she transforms into her beautiful alter-ego Yuyi the mermaid, and the man decides to accept her for who she is.

The ending of the video alludes to a marriage in the near future. This could be symbolic to the rumors of her and Luc’s alleged engagement.
